Some iPads have separately replaceable front glass, while others use a laminated screen assembly. Selecting the exact model helps us match the correct part and repair option.
For supported iPads where the display image still works and the damage is limited to the front glass or touch layer.
For no image, coloured lines, black spots, damaged LCD or a failed laminated display assembly.
Help with fast drain, swelling, unexpected shutdowns or an iPad that no longer holds charge.
Search the A-number printed on the back, or paste the Apple part number from Settings, to find the correct iPad generation and compatible repair part.
Problems we can help with
The model and type of screen damage determine whether the iPad needs front-glass, LCD or full-display replacement.
Helpful before you visit
Clear answers about model identification, parts, timing and repair options.
Look for the small A-number printed on the back, such as A2696. You can also open Settings, choose General and About, then copy the Apple part number shown beside Model Number. Our search accepts both formats, including regional numbers such as MQ6J3J/A and MQ6J3X/A.
Front-glass replacement is suitable only where the underlying image is still working on supported models. Lines, black spots or no image normally indicate display or LCD damage.
Listed iPad screen, battery and charging repairs generally show an expected time of around one hour. We confirm the exact timing and part availability first.
The model pages show current stock information for each listed option. If a particular part needs ordering, we will tell you before arranging the repair.
Screen and battery options normally show a six-month repair warranty, while listed charging-port repairs normally show three months. The exact warranty is displayed with the selected repair.
Convenient local access
Bring the iPad or its A-number to our Springwood store for model identification and a clear repair option. Customers visit us from nearby Logan suburbs and Brisbane City areas including Rochedale, Eight Mile Plains, Kuraby and Runcorn.
Many nearby suburbs are a short drive from the store. Travel time varies with traffic.
Not sure which model you have?
The A-number is printed in small text on the back or bottom of the device. Tell us that code and we can match the correct repair part.
