Four simple steps

How mail-in repairs work

  1. 01

    Contact us before posting

Tell us your device model, the fault and your postcode. We confirm whether mail-in repair is suitable, part availability, the repair estimate, postage arrangements and the delivery address before you send anything.

  2. 02

Pack securely & send with tracking

Follow the packing checklist and the carrier’s battery rules. Include your name, contact details and our email confirmation or enquiry reference inside the box. Send only after we confirm the arrangements, and keep your tracking number.

  3. 03

    We assess, confirm & repair

Once the device arrives, we check the fault and confirm the repair. If the assessment changes the price or reveals another issue, we ask for your approval before doing additional work. We test the repaired device before return.

  4. 04

    Payment & return delivery

We confirm the amount due, payment instructions and return arrangements with you. Return delivery is arranged after the agreed payment is settled. Check your return address with us and keep the return tracking details.

Before you pack

A short sending checklist

  • Back up your data if the device is usable, then power it off.
  • Remove SIM and memory cards, cases and accessories unless we request them.
  • Protect the device with cushioning in a strong box so it cannot move or switch on accidentally. Do not send it loose in a satchel.
  • Include a note with your name, phone number, device model and enquiry reference or confirmation email. A handwritten note is fine.
  • Use a tracked service accepted by the carrier for your device. Keep a photo of the packed device and your tracking receipt.

Know what to expect

Repair time, postage & payment

Repair time is not delivery time

Published in-store repair times do not include either postal journey. Parts orders, inspection and your approval can also affect the total turnaround.

Confirm the full arrangements

Postage is not automatically included in a listed repair price. We discuss delivery costs, payment and any applicable assessment or unrepaired-return charges before you send the device.

No surprise extra repairs

If the fault differs from the original description, we contact you before additional work. Your repair warranty is recorded on the receipt. Read the repair policy.

Before you send

Mail-in repair questions

Unsure about the model or condition? Start with an email or call, not a parcel.

Can I post my device without contacting you first?

Please contact us first. We need to check your model, fault, part availability and whether the device is suitable for transport. Wait for confirmation of the shipping address and arrangements before posting. An enquiry is not a shipping label or permission to send a parcel.

How much does a mail-in repair cost?

The model pages show listed repair prices where available. Contact us to confirm your repair estimate and both delivery arrangements. Do not assume postage is included in a listed repair price. We confirm any applicable assessment, unrepaired-return or delivery charges before you send your device.

How long will I be without my device?

The total time includes delivery to us, assessment, parts availability, repair, any approval or payment delays, and return delivery. Times such as 20-minute iPhone repairs or 1–2-hour MacBook screen repairs refer to eligible in-store repair work, not the complete mail-in turnaround. We discuss an estimate for your device before you post it.

What if I decide not to proceed, or the device cannot be repaired?

We discuss the assessment and return options with you. Any applicable charges for assessment or an unrepaired return are confirmed before you send the device. We do not carry out additional repair work without your approval.

Should I send my passcode, charger or SIM card?

Do not put account passwords or device passcodes in an email or parcel. Remove SIM cards, memory cards and unnecessary accessories. Send a charger or other accessory only if we request it. Back up your data where possible; we discuss any access needed for testing directly with you.

Is a mail-in repair covered by a warranty?

The applicable warranty covers the repair or replacement part for the period agreed and recorded on your repair receipt. It is not cover for the whole device or for new accidental damage. If you have a concern after repair, contact us before sending the device back so we can agree the next steps.

Start with your model & fault

Let’s check your mail-in repair

Send your model, a brief description of the fault and your postcode. You can attach a photo of the damage, but hide personal information. Never email account passwords or device passcodes.

A listed price does not confirm that a device is suitable for posting. Contact us first.
